     This can be accomplished
     with 1" to 2" of INSUFOAM.

BUILD-OUT
     The typical build-out
     for bows are 0" to 3"
     for sail and power
     boats on a flush dock.

The build-out material is INSUFOAM found in a variety of thickness at your local hardware stores like LOWE'S or HOME DEPOT. This product comes in 4' x 8' sheets sealed on both sides. Cut along the 4' side achieving a piece 7" wide by 48" long, then place behind the bumper and tighten straps securing foam between bumper and dock.
